Trunk or Treat at NLS

It is scary close to Halloween!

Will you dare to join us for a Trunk or Treat event?.

Our parking lot is such a wonderful place to celebrate Halloween with friends, games, treats, and the excitement halloween and the holiday season brings for all of us.

So excited to have you join us for our 2nd Healthy Trunk or Treat!

4:30 to 5:15pm

Nature’s Lab parking lot

Should we have at least 15 families interested in joining us and decorating their cars we will move forward with the event. 

Please RSVP by Friday, October 14 so we can plan accordingly.

Please come to set up at 4:15 pm or earlier and be ready to start at 4:30 pm.

·  We will meet at the parking lot near the courtyard, away from the main road. Teacher Nathalia will meet you at arrival to help with car positioning.

·  Each car will give out healthier treats, fruit, and/or a toy (A few candies are ok too but let’s aim for healthy options please). See a few ideas below.

·  Kids will come from car to car and ask for their treats. Feel free to have a game or activity if you want the kid/adults to work for their treats ;-)

·  Please remember:

 Nature’s Lab is a media-free school so no cartoon or movie themes or costumes.

·  A few kids with nut and egg allergies, and dairy sensitivities.

·  We will have warm apple cider for all.

Some “healthy” ideas: Little raisin boxes, apples, regular popcorn with real butter, toys, other fruits, dried fruit, coconut balls, granola bars, 100% fruit leather, honey popcorn balls, honey caramels, etc.
